Return of the Liberal Circle Jerk

The Padres have ushered in a new era in baseball with Kwanzaa and Jose Feliciano by having four runners.

thrown out at home plate, and that's why Scott Lewis is here to break down each and every single play.

Fellas, how are you doing today?

Well, thanks,

guys.

Scott, you ever see anything like that in all your years of softball coaching?

Yeah, I have.

I've seen some real bad sins, but those are volunteer coaches, and it's always when a coach is walking back in after doing something like that, you know, they feel bad already.

And, but you still feel like you have to say something.

And it's like, so what, what were you thinking? It's just like, yeah.

So I don't know.

That was so hard to watch.

I mean, new way to lose, but that's fun.

Yeah, well, that's the story of the Padres, right? Figuring out new and exciting and interesting ways to lose, especially against bad teams and former managers.

So it just kind of comes with the territory if you're a fan of this squad here.

But hey, good news is they got two more against the Mets and they play a bunch of crappy teams in a row.

So how are you feeling about the pods overall? Before we get into some of the newsier stuff here, and we'll rely on your big J journalism intellect to steer us in the right direction towards press conferences and such.

How are you feeling overall as a fan about the team?

I'm really, I feel great.

You know, I'm so glad you guys are letting me talk about baseball a little bit.

So a couple of things.

I was early on the Tatis needs to lead off train and you guys weren't.

Yes, we were.

No, you weren't.

You were anti-Tatis leading off at the beginning.
