Okay, so last time we left off, we were talking about alchemy, and we were talking about the philosopher's stone.

It's a science, uh, that we know that Jabir ibn Hayyan practiced, and he was one of the students of one of the imams, Imam Jafar as-Sadiq Alayhis Salaam.

And so it's one of their sciences, and we have narrations from Muhammad and the family of Muhammad Alayhimus Salaam that state that anything that the people have of truth, any science, any knowledge that they have that's true, its origin is Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, and everything else is false.

And, uh, in alchemy, it's based or, uh, one of the principles that they believe in and that they base their knowledge off of is the Hermetic principle of as above, so below.

So they see things mirroring in other things, and this is the golden rule that they have.

Uh, they believe that there's a perfected state for all things, that there is the best of all things.

Out of all fruits, there's the most perfect fruit that all other fruits should have been like, that all other fruits should aspire to be like, that could have been like, except that they were tainted or not as pure.

Okay, so they believe basically that there are these four elements, that at the very beginning of creation, these four elements came out, and they are fire, air, water, and earth.
