Should the Raiders Trade Maxx Crosby? Plus, Other Trade Ideas

Tom Pellicero, Sheil Kapadia, Billy Gill.

None of us have been traded, so that's the good news so far.

But a couple stalwarts in Indianapolis already on the move, Sheil.

And these are both in their own way.

Fascinating trades.

I wrote about it at The Sweep.

Everybody can get my thoughts there.

I'll share them here as well.

But I want to get your thoughts here.

Quentin Nelson to Seattle, DeForest Buckner to San Francisco.

Just give me wherever you want to start on a pretty momentous day, especially in Indianapolis.

Yeah.

I think Seattle is the biggest story here where they are the defending super bowl champs.

They had a clear weakness there at guard and they go out and they get an all pro caliber guard in Quentin Nelson.

And I don't think they had to trade a crazy amount to get him.

When you look at some of the other deals that might get done here in the next couple of weeks.

So that's where my mind went and John Schneider in the past has done this, where he will trade for the veteran in season.

You say it's a rental.

But like, I don't think, I mean, I'm sure you have intel on this.

It wouldn't surprise me just as an observer, if Quentin Nelson is on the Seahawks for like the next three years.

I mean, they did that with Leonard Williams when they traded for him, they got a deal done there.

So I think it helps them immediately when you're, Defending the title, I think you kind of owe it to yourselves, owe it to the fan base.

If you're a contender, go for it.

I mean, that's rarefied air to be back-to-back champs in the NFL.

So yeah, I really like it from Seattle's perspective, addressing a need and really going out and getting a really talented, high-caliber player there in Quentin Nelson.
