Tom Pelissero

All right, so Dan Quinn right there certainly indicated that there is a very good chance that Jaden Daniels will play in Washington's game against the Giants at Northwest Stadium this Sunday afternoon at 1.

And NFL insider Tom Pelissero of The Ringer and Spotify, he on Saturday morning in a post on X reported, quote, the commanders are hopeful QB Jaden Daniels, who returned to practice this week with a brace on his bulky left elbow, will start next Sunday against the Giants, end quote.

It's not clear how close Daniels did come to playing in the game against Indianapolis in London on Sunday morning.

He ended up being listed as a limited participant for each of Washington's three practices for this game.

First topic of the night, and that's the Micah Parsons update.

I'm not sure if you guys seen this yet, [clicks tongue] but basically Tom Pelissero fired a tweet out earlier today, "Packers star Micah Parsons hasn't had any setbacks in his rehab." I want to repeat this.

"Packers star Micah Parsons has not had any setbacks in his rehab, but he's not expected to practice next week and it could be November before he's ready for game action." Couple key things there.

He hasn't had any setbacks, and it could be November.

Now some people are saying, "Well, it might be week nine." Okay, let's say it's weeks five to nine, right? There's other people saying he ain't even gonna play the rest of the year, and everybody went doom and gloom.

I think nothing's changed here.

I want to get your all's take on it, although Tom Pelissero fired this tweet out like he was breaking some kind of like, you know, astronomical news.

Um, but Matt Schnaubin also tweeted out Brian Gutekunst on September 1st, quote, "We have a pretty good idea once we get out of that four-game window that we're going to be pretty close.

He's just like, totally caught off guard and flummoxed by any question about it, and then boom, we hit the weekend, Christian Gonzalez, Barmore are out, and Drake Mayes disappeared from the report.

Well, Pelissero's report today is that he landed on the shoulder in Jacksonville, and he has received treatment on it.
