I wanted to start out today by, uh, just talking about everything that we're paying for these days.

We were just talking football.

... you know, imagine the shock of, of hundreds of thousands of Medicare Advantage members who just found out that their pl- A, their plan's going up.

Like, my wife got a letter.

Holy cow.

... what about if your plan is being eliminated?

Yeah.

I mean, for, for, for those who get a, "Sorry, but your plan's not here anymore," letter, what, [laughs]

Yeah

... what, what can they do, Grant?

Yeah, I actually had a friend of mine that, uh, doesn't live in the state, uh, doesn't live in Nebraska, but he, uh, he has a lot of clients, uh, that is with one particular Medicare Advantage program.

And he told me this a little over a month ago that he had almost 500 people that he was gonna have to help get into a different plan because their plan was pulling out of the state.

And, the, so what you can do, I mean, there's, there's what's called a special enrollment period that most people are gonna be able to get into at least another Med- Medicare Advantage program.

There's all kinds of different rules around it, depending on when you went into the Advantage program, what your age was when you got into it.

Did you have an open enrollment? Did you have guaranteed issue? You may be able to go into a Medicare supplement, uh, and then get a Med- a Medicare prescription drug plan with the Medicare supplement in addition to Part A and Part B.

Or you may have the option that you may only be able to go into a Medicare Advantage program.
