But moving into the news, first up, the Coalition for Renewable Natural Gas has filed a lawsuit in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C.

Circuit challenging the Environmental Protection Agency's decision to reduce the 2025 cellulosic renewable volume obligation under its Renewable Fuel Standards Set 2 rule.

The EPA originally finalized the 2025 obligation at 1.38 billion renewable identification numbers, or RINs, in mid-2023.

The agency subsequently proposed a reduction to 1.19 billion RINs before settling on 1.21 billion in the final set-to rule published in March 2026.

Circuit has consolidated the RNG Coalition's challenge with several other lawsuits seeking review of the Set 2 rule brought by American Fuel and Petrochemical Manufacturers, the Center for Biological Diversity, Sierra Club, Small Refineries of America, Biogas Works for America, and a number of refining companies.

And up next, Minnesota's Agricultural Utilization Research Institute, or ORI, says they are partnering with Swedish company BPC Instruments to untap the potential of agricultural residues and organic waste streams for renewable energy.
