Some interesting stuff this weekend going down the, I guess, the list of stuff that happened.
I was really shocked at the number of folks that are in a position to talk about the sewage and water board.
And with all this rain that we had this weekend, you know, the sewage and water board and the pumps and all that came up again.
I'm surprised it's not, I guess, top of conversation today with the flooding that we had, especially over there by Esplanade, by Little Dizzy's and some places uptown.
But it was an interesting something that I checked into that folks haven't mentioned, but I'm going to mention it.
It was interesting to me in the plight of who's going to be the head of the Sewage and Water Board or this DPW situation.
And I was thinking, because I'm a conspiracy theorist, I was thinking more of, okay, they're trying to get rid of Mr. Hammonds.
But if you get a chance to talk to him, you find out that he's one of the smartest guys that you ever meet because he's been through all the major, I guess, water municipalities across the country.
But it was also interesting to me that he took a lot of hits and from this issue of shutting down the French Quarter streets so that they could do this contract of digging up these pipes and these businesses started closing.
No, look, there's clearly an agenda to try to remove him from his position, to seize control of the Sewerage and Water Board.
