What if the word “incurable” is more about the limits of the system… than the limits of your body? Dr Aaron Hartman returns and shares how being reported for feeding his foster daughter real food…
It's like, wow, they have actual fasting clinics, you know, where doctors monitor you and look after you and make sure everything's fine.
When I was doing some of my pep- you know, peptides are all the rage right now, right? When I was doing my certification training five or six years ago for that, you, you learn about all these fancy pathways and NF kappa B and, you know, all this really cool stuff.
But you start to look at the pathways and you start connecting dots and you're like, "This is all the same stuff that happens when you fast and when you do HI- and when you do HIIT training, HIIT there, like high intensity interval, um, interval training." So all of a sudden, all these really cool cutting edge peptides are all the rage in the United States.
Literally, the same pathways are activated by fasting and intense physical activity.
It's like, so why not do the physical activity? 'Cause it does way more 'cause you're hitting like dozens and dozens of these pathways, uh, not, not just one with one peptide.
So it's funny how some of the newer science is just saying some of the older things that, um, we've been doing forever actually work and we should do them.
You know, I str- when I was younger and I heard about, you know, the medical industrial complex and I heard about big pharma, I just kind of rolled my eyes.
You know, like, okay, that's just the, the old k- conspiracy theory, you know, crazy people saying stuff and I'm, I'm fifty-two now and I've been doing... been, been a physician for twenty-five years now and, you know, there are a lot of, um, um, business interests.
You know, when you look at, you know, twenty to thirty percent of all pharmaceutical drug companies', um, expenses are actually in advertising and you realize that that's a big, that's a big play at what we do, what we practice.
You know, for example, in the United States you might know we just changed our food pyramid, now fats are back, right? They're healthy again, right? Well, why did we say fats were bad for maybe fifty years? It was a lot of food industry involvement.
Um, and now all of a sudden you're seeing, you know, a flip and it's really interesting to see how under the radar there's, there are special interests involved that actually push a lot of these things and that's what's ma- makes it hard for someone like me who's like, "Okay, what's real and what's, um, you know, what's paid advertising in my journals?" You know, uh, one of my most...
