2×10 “Catch A Falling Star” Rewatch

Sam leaps into Ray Hutton in May 21st, 1979.

This episode was written by Paul Brown and directed by DPB himself, Donald P. Bellisario.

I know we looked up some things about like Paul Brown before.

Didn't he do Kamikaze Kid? Right.

That sounds right.

I know

it's been almost two weeks.

Yeah, I have the worst memory in the world.

Sorry.

Also, I should have had IMDb pulled up, but it's fine.

Let's start off with first impressions while I do pull up those other things.

Mikey, what did you think about Catch a Falling Star? Is there a movie called To Catch a Thief? There's a movie called To Catch a Thief.

I think that's why I keep saying that.

I keep wanting to throw two at the beginning of this title.

but um yeah first impressions catch a falling star

um i kind of just thought it was an okay episode like i'm not like wasn't a huge fan of it to be honest with you like i um first of all i i love man of lamont i've seen it a few times um once like 10 years ago at the Benetton in Pittsburgh and once maybe, I don't

know.

I don't remember how old I am.

Uh, maybe like 20 years ago in college, um, maybe longer.

Uh, I think I saw a performance of pit, but, um, I

haven't even seen it the third

time, but anyways, it's, it's a great musical.

I'm a fan of it, but this episode, I just, like there wasn't, Great stakes to it, I guess.

At one point, Sam isn't really concerned whether he's going to leap at all, or if he's staying or he's going, or if he's going to complete his mission.

He's kind of heartbroken.
