Uh-oh, now Larry David's in trouble.

So guess what, Larry? You can do your praying while you burn in hell forever.

In the meantime, you lose that one for not praying for Rob Morrow's dad.

uh let me tell you uh janine turner if you're listening which i know you're not to this uh i love praying if you know what i mean call me uh larry david you are slipping away three and four oh larry gets his first win in a while here rob morrow says oh he asked rob morrow are you gonna pray and rammer of course uh and larry's like hey Well, if God's not going to listen to you, why would he listen to me? You're a son.

And I got to say, that makes a lot of sense there, Larry David.

Definitely watching.

And the next year it was Ben Watt from Everything but the Girl, and Janine Turner from Cliffhanger, amongst other things.

I got a crazy thing to tell you about Janine Turner.

So this is season four, episode 22, The Cottage for Uncle Manny, which was really once again.

We had lots of stories.

And we're going to wrap O'Connell and Fleischman.

Uh, Wilma had some very interesting competition in the form of Geena Davis, uh, Catherine O'Hara, and Murphy Brown's Faith Ford.

And as for Betty, uh, Janine Turner of Northern Exposure fame was in the running, as was, uh, comedian Tracey Ullman.

Now, while I think any of these potential cast members could have brought something interesting to the table, I have to say that as cast in the finished film, Fred, Wilma, Barney, and Betty work wonderfully well together, a- and there's a really nice chemistry between them all.

Uh, even switching out one of these four in favor of one of the other potential candidates would likely upset the special balance of things that happen here, although it sure is always fun to speculate on what might have been.

My Dolly story, says Dennis, is that the movie Steel Magnolias, in which she starred with Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, Olympia Dukakis, Sally Field, Shirley MacLaine, Daryl Hannah, Julia Roberts.

Oh, and don't forget my favorite, who sometimes pops up on the show, because I'm a huge fan of Northern Exposure, Janine Turner, was filmed in my elementary school hometown of Natchitoches, Louisiana.

Natchitoches.

The movie's closing aerial shot, and I got a visit there, and if I go to visit that town, then I'll be able to pronounce it correctly.

Janine is an actress, author, speaker, and founder of Constituting America, a nonprofit dedicated to educating Americans about the U.S. Constitution and inspiring civic engagement among the nation's youth.

She's widely known for her Emmy and Golden Globe-nominated role as Maggie O'Connell in Northern Exposure, along with roles in Cliffhanger and Steel Magnolias.
