The New Mexico loss wasn’t just another disappointing result—it opened the door to a much bigger conversation. This week, the crew breaks down Sacramento Republic FC’s frustrating performance, the…
I mean, it was terrible.
I mean, not only did we lose, even if we had drawn 0-0, it would have been a terrible result, given how much of the game that we controlled.
There was just no reason for him to come out for that ball.
Benitez was right there.
Danny does have this tendency to try and sweep as a keeper a lot more than I think a lot of us would probably like he's probably the best keeper in USL but he does like to come out of the box quite a bit I know he did that against I think it was against Seattle last year he gave the goal by coming out of the box we played them in the open cup and that caused some issues.

I mean, Danny is an incredible keeper, all that being said, and there's not much that we can do when we don't give him any support.
We had 18 shots, only five on target.
No goals scored.
We've got three goals total in the last five games.
Completely agree.
To be really honest, the game from start to finish wasn't great.
I mean, the first half had its very exciting moments.
I mean, the number of shots we had in the first time, I think, was 11.
Four of those on target.
There was just, again, that same routine we have where we seem to not be able to finish.
But as we get into the second half, I mean, there's...
Almost no shots on goal for New Mexico in the first half, if I remember that stat correctly.
But in the second half, I think they had five.
Six shots, five of them being on goal.
And it almost seemed as though, as we got to the second half, all the miscommunication and the back line, the midfield just didn't look as cohesive as it did in the first half, leading to those chances.
It almost seemed as though it broke down.
