- INTRO - SEASON PREDICTIONS FOR - X FACTOR - UNSUNG HERO - LET DOWN - ROOKIE OF THE YEAR - DPOY - OPY - BOLD PREDICTION - SEASON PREDICTION - INTRUSIVE THOUGHT - VIKINGS PREVIEW - STUMP SPENNY - MORE…
Very excited.
How do we feel about a week one matchup against a division rival like we have this year? Would you prefer it was a non-divisional opponent? Would you prefer if it wasn't the Vikings? I guess last year we had the Lions too, but I guess going in, I'll answer my own question.
Going into last year, the Lions coming off a... number one seed or number two seed.
It was like, Oh, if we lose, we lose.
If we win, very cool.
We won.
It was very cool.
But this year it's a little odd going against the Vikings who coming off a not so great season.
I think – I guess my personal opinion is I like having them kind of spread out throughout the year.
I don't really like the way they put them all at the end of the season.
It's like if you are having injury troubles late in the year, which we all know when you get late in the year, you're having some troubles usually.
Like at least somebody needs to sit.
It's nice to have games outside of conference at the end of the season so you can like, okay, we can sit a guy or put somebody on a snap count and get healthy for the playoffs, where in this case it's like – everyone it's essentially like extends your playoffs out further because it's all seeding at the end of the year like it just makes it tough so i like it i like it being earlier i guess i just wish we spread them out a little better
I don't necessarily mind playing a divisional rival in the opener.
In this case, I'm actually kind of for it just because they're breaking in a new quarterback.
And kind of similar to last year with Detroit, I wanted to play Detroit in week one because they were breaking in two brand new coordinators.
So you might get them when they're not quite in their full regular season form, I guess.
Yeah, that's fair.
I guess I'd rather play the Vikings than the Bears, just because I feel like that's going to be a big game.
I
would love to play the Bears week one.
Yeah, well, I mean, I guess we're playing them week five, so it's not too far off anyways.
This episode, we will, like I said, preview the season.
We're going to have our little stupid predictions for different things like offensive player, rookie of the year, X Factor, whatever.
letdown of the year blah blah blah so we'll go through all of those very similar to last year we will preview the vikings game we will have stump spenny somewhere in there and then next week we will start having our regular episodes which i mean pretty similar to what we've been doing but breaking down the game going by position and then you know second half last third of the episode we usually just have some stupid shit that we talk about um Also, this will be the last time we see Billy for a bit, but he will probably be filling in because Todd or his beloved partner will be having a child sometime.
Very excited.
