A-chan.
A-chan goes down.
It's a big loss.
First of all, what's your take on the play? Just from people you've been talking to, do you think it happened...
Right when he planted or do you think the face mask that wasn't called zebras is the do you think that played a part because you kind of got like immovable force moving like immovable object? You know what I mean? What's your take on that and how it all went? I
think like when you're if you're running, you know, full speed and your head is going back like your body's natural adjustment is to try to regain your balance.
Obviously, we're not going to get his perspective on that until... you know some point in june or july probably but uh yeah he's just not gonna be he's unless he's at open locker room clean out which i doubt but uh it's it's unfortunate there uh we're obviously worst case scenario for a dolphins team you know for any chances of really truly competing on offense uh you lose your best player that's that's absolutely brutal you know the silver lining maybe is like if you were going to lose Devon HN in any season this is probably the season to do it that doesn't make it a good thing that doesn't make it a positive thing or something anybody should be celebrating or happy about but like it's not the absolute worst it could be I guess you know and I say that as sensitively as possible I don't like to These are guys' careers and livelihoods, but he'll be back.
Ideally, it's a better team around him by the time he's ready to take the field again as well.
Do you have any concern that he could lose some of his explosion?
ACL is pretty, it's a fairly common, you know, I would say it's probably the most common major injury you see in sports.
And, you know, sometimes you might maybe lose a step or two, but I don't know that it's not as concerning as like in Achilles.
you know in terms of your your explosiveness and your ability to make quick decisions or quick movements uh i i think that he should be okay just there's a precedent in place of guys returning and being fun
isn't it crazy how like five six years ago it took like a year and a half for guys to get right and now you got guys like chris bell out here 44 yard catch and runs 10 months after they tear an acl and like just that's how much it's changed isn't that crazy
