You know, sometimes we all feel like we're standing at the bottom of a mountain, or we'll feel like we're spinning our wheels and, uh, it can be pretty frustrating.

You know, for years I always thought sex was a man's number one need, but like anything, the more you learn, the more you learn that you didn't really know what was going on.

In short, I know that a lot of you don't want to hear that, but I'm speaking to myself as much as, as anybody else.

So point being, what have you done lately to deserve respect, if that's what your issue is? I see-- I've seen myself and a lot of other people go to other places trying to fill a hole inside of them with drinking or smoking or all of these unfulfilling things.

You know, um, a lot of hobbies get stuck in that hole because something's gonna make them happy, you know, like golf or rodeo or hunting or fishing.

And, uh, the, all that stuff can be good, but at the end of the day, it's gonna let you down.

And I think in short, the secret to life is balance, and that's what I wanna talk about.

So if you're not where you wanna be, why is that? Where do you wanna be? I think a lot of us, we lose the forest through the trees 'cause that, that statement has always kind of surprised a lot of people when I say it.

And what I mean is you're literally standing and all you can see is trees, but in reality, you're looking for the forest and you're in it.

You're trying to make decisions for your life, but you're never picking your head up.

A lot of times we just put our head down and we push on and we push on, and then we wonder why we're not getting anywhere.

I wonder, how good could you drive blindfolded? I mean, you could drive fast and you could hustle, you could hurry.

And then when we end up someplace we're not supposed to be, maybe you're too old, you're too fat, too lazy, you're not as successful, you don't have enough money.

The point is, is who's saying that? The devil comes to s- steal, kill, and destroy.

But every time we're letting the world in, we're getting farther away from Him, and I think he is a master at driving wedges.
