EP1: WSL Transfer Window

So should we start with the Arsenal transfer window? Yeah, it feels like the WSL is entering a new era and I really think Arsenal is probably the main club which is

entering a bit of a new era.

They've had an amazing transfer window, really following on their... theme of signing players on freeze and getting incredible players if you think in the past people like Alessia Russo, Mariona so we can go through the long list quickly they've signed Honor Batier from Barcelona, Georgia Stamway, Geraldine Reutler, Lisa Baum, Selena Turchi, Misa Rodriguez and Isabella Dam so that's quite a lot including two goalkeepers which I think was quite a surprise for some people.

Yeah, what do you think about, who's your favourite amongst all of these?

I think that so far, I think I would say Honor Batier would be my favourite, but they're all really good signings and something that stuck out to me as well It's just how quickly in the window they seemed to be announced.

And also a lot of these signings were rumoured before they even before they were officially announced.

There weren't any that like they're all great signings, but they were rumoured before.

So they weren't.

Hugely surprising by the time they were actually announced by Arsenal, I think.

But yeah, so they're clearly got their business done quite early in the window and would have been kind of agreeing terms with players before the window opened potentially too, especially because they were, most of these were free transfers.

But yeah, which is your favourite transfer do you think or signing?

I really like them all.

Yeah.

I think I might have to go with Honor Batier as well.

Yeah.

I think it's quite a shock to be able to pull somebody from Barcelona who was only there for three years.

Yeah.

It's still like relatively young and is a Barcelona fan.

Yeah.

I think that it's like a huge achievement, really.

But also Georgia Stanway, obviously her being a Lioness.

It's nice to see her back in the league because I do think that she's been underrated since going to Germany.

And I think when the past few England games, she was in such good form.

So it's going to be like really cool to see her playing for Arsenal.

And I think she's going to make a huge difference.
