The Tale of the Octopus Spirit

Now, I came across this.

Actually, I was in a group chat and someone shared that Vlad had done this teaching.

Now, when I went and looked at it, he had posted this a month ago.

And he was resharing it and putting up on Facebook the eight traits or eight signs that you may have an octopus spirit.

Now, when you watch this video, you're going to notice that he states that this spirit is not in the Bible.

Like, the Bible doesn't talk about it.

It doesn't mention anything about an octopus spirit.

But he's going to say it talks about its function, though.

It doesn't, by the way.

I'm just going to ruin this episode for you.

So let's just say it up front so we have it out.

There's no such thing as an octopus spirit.

Me saying that does not deny the demonic exists.

So that is a logical fallacy or even a straw man argument that these people will say is that because myself and others say that there is no such thing as an octopus spirit, they will say, well, you just don't believe in demons.

And that never came out of my mouth.

So I do believe that demons exist, as I've said numerous times.

The thing is, I do not believe in their erroneous teaching that really enslaves people to the modern deliverance movement.

And I think that's what it does.

And honestly, let me say this up front too.

I believe what we're going to see in Vlad's video today is that the very thing, and this is the irony of it all, is the very thing that he tries to warn about in this video is really what the result of his video would do to someone, right? based on this alleged octopus spirit and he's going to say that it clouds your judgment and it causes brain fog and it causes all these other issues when really that's what his video ultimately does for those who put stock in this because they're constantly going to be thinking that every time they deal with a sinful thought or there is a temptation in this world if they truly are born again and to where they are engaging in spiritual warfare, where there is the temptation from the little God of this world, the devil, to sin, to be influenced in any way from an outward perspective, because the enemy, the devil, is an outward enemy and an outward foe for the Christian world.

That's not what they believe, though.

But what's going to happen is, is that this is going to breed confusion.

It's going to have actually had the very effect and result that he's trying to warn against in this octopus spirit.

So I want to look at this today.
