I was nominated by my high school, Roslyn High School, to compete for a scholarship to go do a homestay in Japan when I was 15 between my junior and senior years of high school.
And that really expanded my worldview and really to this day affects how I think about a lot of things.
But what language did you learn in high school? Because usually you pick up some kind of foreign language.
That was very unusual to have any of those Asian languages or, you know, non-Romance languages that were taught.
