mean, first off, the wit to be right on that.

I mean, he was meeting many of them for the first time.

People like James Mattis, Rex Tillerson, H.R. McMaster, you can go down the list, Gary Cohn, John Kelly.

Because of that, he hadn't done the digging to know that many of them had worldviews that differed from his.

In many cases, some of these people viewed Donald Trump himself as dangerous and saw their jobs as protecting the country or the world from Donald Trump.

We love this." That's a big problem that Trump has, is that, like, he can pick a fight with the Kennedy Center, but he can't sort of turn the economy around.

McMaster, there's not even a Dina Powell to say, like, "Maybe this isn't a fight we should pick." We just have a Natalie Harp.
