So I read that you have a particular affinity with Eartha Kitt and hearing your story, it really actually makes sense.

I have an affinity for Eartha Kitt because of a lot of things that were in common and obviously because she was, there are a lot of things in common, but there are lots of things in common with the other singers as well that I love.

I think because I did a tribute group with my partner to Eartha Kitt, And what I loved was her repertoire was a lot of French songs and a lot of the playfulness of the seduction thing and a lot of stuff like that.

And I plan to – well, I plan to with David Lewis – who helped me produce my last album, Sea of Love, this one that's just come out, released some work based on Eartha later in the year that we did.

But on Sea of Love, I'm mostly – it's not a tribute album in any way, but I've been very much inspired by my – massive love, the main love, I would say, is Nina Simone.

oh, thank you, you'll see that three of the songs were songs that Nina sang.

And what I loved about Nina was that she – The songs she chose were often folk or pop or whatever because jazz at the time was the pop of the time.

She wasn't like, oh, I've got to do a standard song, I've got to do this, I've got to be pretty, I've got to be sweet.
