Irish Mags Show #135 - Do we Predict a Riot this season?

Before we do that, though, some plans, Alan Williamson, emerging out of Newcastle, from the club, something I think we've probably been expecting to happen for about four or five years.

Craig Hope, I was the first one I saw tweet the information-

Mm

... about what appears to be movement on our new training ground.

The club then officially confirmed £190 million.

£190 million, yes.

Spent on a 260-acre site.

You can tell me where it is in a minute.

I'll go and I'll, uh, start doing some quantity surveying when I arrive on Sunday.

Do.

I'll get the camera out.

Yeah, I'll go test out the soil and-

For the airport

... yeah, I'll just go, uh, sticking me feet in the ground.

But something else I saw, Alan, I don't know if you saw this as well, if the 260 acres is 260 acres, and if it is filled as our training ground and it remains that size, it would be the second-biggest training ground in Europe? In the world?

It would be the third- The world ... big- third biggest.

So George's Park is 330 acres.

Uh, whatever Real Madrid one is called, as I've got out of my head, is 300 acres, and ours will be third.

So-

Who, who owns the...

Who's George's Park?

The FA.

In England.

Oh, right.

Okay.
