And actually they still had a fright.

Just before Joe Willock scored the winner for them, Millwall did post a little bit before that.

Saw it, yeah.

They were flagging quite badly, Millwall, in terms of, like, they were tired.

They, they've been, you know, they've been those existing players.

I mean, he's getting a tune out of Joe Willock.

I know he got a bit of criticism on, on Tuesday 'cause his performance wasn't perfect, but he scored the crucial goal.

Two goals he scored this season already.

I mean, you know, Willock wasn't happy last season.

He wasn't happy with his role.

He wasn't happy with where he was.

I know the 10 can drop in.

If it's Willock, he can drop into the midfield, et cetera.

But we're a little bit short in that area.

Um, and we've- that's a little bit of a concern.

He's got legs about him.

He's carrying the ball.

The, you know, the dribble, um, against Liverpool for Willock's goal, superb.

But there is an issue, in my opinion, that he's not in the box.

Wissam was class against Liverpool.

Willock was class against Liverpool.

We could see that difference.

You know, Dedic comes in.

And, you know, we did OK against Liverpool and Spurs.

And now this is the reality of it when you when you play against a team that's happy to sit back a little bit when it comes to their back line and blah, blah, blah.

Maybe Willock isn't as good, maybe Alanga.

I just feel there's a lot of gut reactions to the opening two games, particularly in the Premier League against Liverpool and Spurs that are dictating how people feel rather than taking a step back and saying, well, Jais has probably been in the job.

And it seems to me that he's not give up, but he's less looking to push himself to make things better.

And the performance on Tuesday was... was poor and that's me I'm being kind because we know he's capable of doing more but as I said earlier there was good performances are becoming more and more fleeting and it doesn't help any winger when your centre forward is playing centre midfield so you've got to say that these defences well when Murphy or Bonds had the ball if they wanted to whip it in they couldn't because there was no one there to pass it to because Whistler was coming back further behind Willock which to me nullified Willock's rule even though he ended up getting the goal by getting forward did that not happen after Whistler come off I'm not sure I think it did, but ultimately I'm looking for reasons or excuses to the performance.

But if you're not putting 100 per cent in, you shouldn't expect to get 100 per cent out.

And it was lacklustre, to say the least, his performance on Tuesday.

I still think, and this may be harsh because of the goals and the performances that they've had.

In fact, most of our goals are going to come from three players I'm going to mention now.

and that's Bond, Willock and Ramsey.

I think for me, these are impact subs.

And secondly, he has a good football brain.

That return pass he made last night, which eventually resulted in Willock scoring the goal, was pure silk.

Pure silk.

It really was.

It was one of those passes that you knew, He'd taken three Millwall defenders out of the game with that one pass.

And as soon as it went in the middle, you just knew somebody was going to get onto it.

And it happened to be Willock.

So I like the cut of him.

There is something that is going on at the moment, so he might not be able to make it with him.

And long may it continue, that is for sure.

So I just wanted to cover Lewis Hall in a bit of detail.

Now, unfortunately, Joe isn't able to make it.

He's just dropped me a message.

It's when he gets the penalty in the first game that he's in and Munoz says, oh yeah, I noticed the penalty.

It's like, well, what you should have noticed is the guy standing next to you So if we can start getting those things right, if we can start getting those players looking up and passing to the side, passing, creating those spaces, like what Lewis Hall did for Joe Willock, rather than putting his head down and shooting, then we're going to create better chances, better opportunities to score.

And we should have been out of sight within that first half because the number of touches that we had in their box was ridiculous.

These are ifs and buts the one thing like what should happen and you need it to click and actually happen and my point was playing against a team from a lower division should have been a chance to do that instead of just more of the failure at launch.

Yeah, mostly, particularly in the League Cup.

Obviously, you've done your match report as well.

I think from all fronts, everybody was looking at Lewis Hall and Joe Willock as the kind of standout players.
