So the very last reference to the Kingdom of God in the Book of Revelation, and thus in the New Testament, is in Revelation 12:10.


For the accuser of our brothers and sisters has been thrown down to earth, the one who accuses them before our God day and night.' " The ESV puts it this way, "Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God." And can you read, uh, verse 11, brother, from whatever translation you have?
Yeah, this is the NRSV, says, "But they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they did not cling to life even in the face of death."
Uh, but this emphasis on the accuser, uh, and, and this is building on the beginning of chapter 12, where we have a dragon-
And, and, you know, we meet Satan in the New Testament as the devil, right? And that's kinda-
... uh, he is tempting Jesus in the wilderness, and, uh, he is, uh, in the letters, um, he is prowling, looking for people to devour.
But it's interesting here in Revelation toward the end of the story, it introduces Satan as an accuser in ways that really echo his arrival by name-
