yeah they are well you know what the thing is is that every single year there's teams that peak early there's teams that flame out late there's teams that uh have key injuries and that kind of derails would have otherwise been a good season um there's there's teams that just have their worst game of the year at the wrong time like there's lots of reasons why teams aren't in the last two, right? There's 32 teams.
Only two teams are going to make it.
Only one team is going to win.
So I've always had the attitude of, as a professional sport, everyone's trying to win the Super Bowl.
All 32 teams are trying to win the Super Bowl.
If your team has the attitude of, well, we're rebuilding right now, let's think about next year, fire everyone because this is a professional sport.
No, you're getting paid millions of dollars to win.
So I have an expectation that you're going to go out there and try to win every single game.
Um, but there's only going to be one, right? Only one team's going to win.
And so, you know, you, you kind of take a broad look at the whole season and you think of like, remember how hot the Colts were early in the year and what a great season, uh, Daniel Jones was having.
But then of course he had apparently suffered some injuries that we just didn't even know about because they didn't talk about them.
Then apparently he like, he had a fracture in his leg and he was playing on it.
And then finally, of course, there was the one last injury that knocked him out for the year.
And that's unfortunate.
Those things do happen.
I know, obviously, present company, the 49ers, started early hot, but also started early with the injuries.
And they just kind of kept going.
They just kind of kept having injuries.
Yeah.
All year.
So
the reason I brought that up is that the 49ers are in that list of teams that you beat the team that's in the Super Bowl in week one of the season when everyone was on the field.
It's
week
one.
