Justin MaraI'm so excited to have with me today a global actor, an audiobook adventurer, Dom Magwili, who is a Filipino-Asian-American writer, director, actor, and creative, producing projects made up of people who look like him.
He is the resident acting teacher for the Los Angeles-based East West Players Theater, the nation's premier Asian-American theater company.
For the last nine years, Dom has taught at Cal State Fullerton in the Department of Asian-American Theater and designed and taught the first course about Asian-American theater at California State University, Long Beach.
His first novel, Legends from the First Hemisphere, The Infernal Promise, went to print in 2022.
His follow-up, Scientific Dragons, The Adventure of Ensign Castle, recently was released and is written for the steampunk genre.
