So just a quick recap of where we're up to with the cultural context of this book.

So they're Jewish people, that's why it's called the book of the Hebrews, They're Jewish people who are then going back to Judaism or they're actually believing some of their old belief system.

And how we can apply that to our own lives is that we're all struggling with this all the time.

We're all defecting back to a lesser version of the plan of God that he has for our lives.

This is why we have to meet and come to church and go to home gatherings regularly because we actually need to be together.

We need to learn together so that we can actually champion one another along.

You could come here on the first, third, and fifth Sunday and then just be like, the beach is really cool on the second and fourth Sundays of the month.

You can do that, but I'm telling you, you're not putting yourself in the environment of the family of God every week.

And you might think, man, that model of church, your big church is epic and your home gatherings, they sort of suck.

because they're not big and shiny, and I can just go and hide in that place of the big church, but in the home gathering, you actually have to be a part of a family, and that's why we're running that model, because the kingdom of God is a family.

He said go and make disciples, and that happens in family, amen? Home gathering signups are gonna go through the roof this week.

Now, I really wanna encourage you that because like as Locke said, we don't wanna just say, come along to the gathering, it's awesome and then find out that you're going to another church on the off week.
