Houston’s best places for breakfast and brunch: The Full Menu

Houston, to me, has always been a brunch city.

Back in the day when we started, we were doing Sunday brunch, then everybody started adding Saturday, Sunday brunch.

And then, remember, Benji's upped it and did these brunch every day of the week.

Like, we're going to top everybody.

So, I'm like, we are such a brunch city, and they were doing that for a while.

I agree that Houston is a brunch city, but I wish we were much more of a breakfast city.

I am just a fan of getting up early, having that coffee, having like just a really interesting breakfast.

I don't know.

I'm a fan of breakfast.

I think, see, I think Houston does have very interesting breakfast.

Of course, you know, we have breakfast tacos.

We've got places doing interesting pastries.

And I, you know, coffee shops have a lot of, you know, I think that's kind of stepped into that role where we have some really great coffee shops because, you know, diners don't always have good coffee.

And at this point in my life, I need good coffee and good breakfast.

So I think that's a secret.

That's our secret sauce.

Like that is the thing where if you know, you know, right? Like for as you're talking about the diners and the traditional things and we have that, but we also have where our culture merges.
