Lets Talk Prospects - The Fix S4E05

Gary, that game on Saturday night against the Pittsburgh Penguins, I don't know about you, man, but I was thinking, you know what, if the Habs actually came back and won that game in overtime, already two games in the regular season, we could already be talking about a potential game of the year candidate right there.

Oh, man, it was a barn burner, wasn't it? Talking about the highs and lows of the season, the highs and lows of that game alone was crazy, man.

It was like, got out to an early start.

It was like, okay, here we go.

Cole Caulfield scores a goal, and you're like, ah, money.

I'm halfway to a beer bet already.

Oh, yeah, of course.

You are always thinking about the next beer.

And then the wheels completely fell off for the second period.

Did it, Eric.

Yeah.

It takes a lot of zeros on the team to, you

know – to go down by four goals to the Pittsburgh Penguins.

But then when you look at it, it also takes a lot of heroes to bounce back and tie the game up.

You know what I mean? That's not bad.

It's the way she goes.

That's

poetry.

That was beautiful.

It's poetry on ice, man.

It was.

I was thinking about that since last night.

I kind of screwed up there.

But the curse of the second period.

hate it when that happens because the second period happened though i mean continues into this season like last year was the same thing they come out sometimes they have slow starts but they'd be kicking around the second period they were you know usually completely trash and then third period they would storm back the cardiac canadian strike again and and this game on saturday night was no exception i was ready to turn it off in the second period to be honest with you you know but we stuck around So
