Ryan Barker

That's really what it's been there.

And then it's at special teams, right? Special teams do matter, okay? But we know that no significant changes, right? Your place kicker is going to be Ryan Barker.

Your punter is going to be Nathan Tice.

Kickoff specialist, Lucas Tenbrock or Ryan Barker.

We've seen the freshman Tenbrock handling kickoff duties.

And then your kick and punt returner, are Zay Robinson.

That's what his total in Big Ten plays to this point.

That'll offset four by Brown of Purdue, but I think Penn State will get a rushing touchdown from, I'll say, Hanson, then some field goals from Ryan Barker.

I have Penn State winning 34-21.

I think Rocco Beck... gets right for this game and gives him an opportunity to play better moving down the stretch.

They know there's a hole there, so I'm sure they've gone after it, but we don't know what the price is to fill that void.

Easy for me, sitting in a studio, to say, give Hayes, give a first, give Ryan Barker.

I don't have to live with the consequences if that goes sour.

I'm not unemployed.

So it'll probably be some gentle, minor, modest personnel changes.

Ryan Barker's already been sent down to the Myers along with Owen Beck, which I don't understand.

Brian Bacher is a strong defenseman.

I get the argument with Engstrom.

He's brought in to play with Hudson or that's, that's the goal.

I think the end goals have Ryan Barker Hudson pairing, whether the top that's he's there.

So that raw Hudson can go do all his magic.

And you have a reliable guy on the right side who also has a little bit of magic to him.

Yeah, we'll say Markov, but I was more thinking Josh Georges or Alexei Emelin, right? Josh, well, maybe not Josh Georges, but Emelin had a little bit of an offensive flair to him.

It wasn't perfect, but he gave P.K. Subban the freedom.

Now, I'm hoping Ryan Barker will be more like Markov, and then Emelin.

However, even if he isn't, Markov was that guy when he paired with PK, PK could go do his thing.

He is truly a Swiss Army knife.

So Tracy gives them that benefit that they can say, "Oh, we'll bench our starting free safety because our slot corner gives us some more balanced defensive back play for this kind of matchup." And for what it's worth, special teams, right? Penn State fans know Ryan Barker's the placekicker.

Nathan Tice is the punter.

I, I've been more or less impressed, unimpressed with his performances recently.

Special teams, uh, on the other hand, has been a bit of a bright spot for Penn State this year.

Uh, I saw kicker Ryan Barker.

He was three for three on field goals, uh, including a 48-yarder, uh, against USC last week.

Punter had, uh, a couple at least inside the 20-yard line.
