It's Chuck, Paul, and Tucker with you here, and this morning at 8:30 AM Eastern Time, the Consumer Price Index report, the CPI, uh, came out, and unfortunately showed inflation a little bit hotter than, uh, anticipated.
Headline inflation rate was .6%, in line with the, uh, .6 expectations, but the unrounded number, out one more decimal point, uh, took you to .64%, so it was a hot .6, if there's anything like that that exists, which, let's be honest, in CPI world, there is.
Like, there's a big difference between .64 and .56, even though both of them round to .6.
The unrounded was .33, so it was a hot .3, and so that set the bond market ablaze yet again.
And as we sit here right now, 10-year Treasury is up 5.3 basis points to 5.27, so that'll put some renewed upward pressure on mortgage rates.
NASDAQ Composite off 285, so tech stocks kind of leading the way down here, and in particular, uh, gotta be honest, the, the one that has caught my eye, we'll talk about this, uh, a little bit more, uh...
Well, no, let's talk about it now before we get to other things moving in markets.
Paul, have you, uh, followed what's been going on with a little stock by the name of CoreWeave-
[laughs] It's been going not so great today, so I dove into what, what the heck is going on, and we should talk about it.
Uh, a couple weeks ago on, let me get the date right because I want to have the date right.
