Ep. 898 - You Can See Everything

Today on the podcast, we just got a bunch of what we've been watching for you before we get to some weekly plugs and our review.

So let's get to it.

I'll start us off this week and talk about Clayface.

Now, I have to be honest.

I thought this would be a much stronger contender for a main review than it actually ended up being, but... uh davindra and jeff seem to have no interest in this and and i understand why because um because who the hell wants a clay face movie i i guess why does this movie exist i guess uh here's the thing like yeah i was really affected by the batman the animated series two-part clay face origin story entitled feet of clay

absolutely

when i did years ago what this is based on yeah I don't know if it's...

No,

I was being facetious because it's obviously not has anything to do with that.

Right.

I mean, other than that, Clayface kind of looks the same and has a similar, you know, origin story.

It's also freakish to see that.

The big details of Clayface are similar is what I'm trying to

say.

It's still the same character.

But now you get to see it in live action with freakish

body horror.

Now you get to see it in live action with freakish body horror.

You know how I love body horror? I mean, there's some real intense body horror in this.

Yeah, that's why

I didn't want to see it.

Here are my overall thoughts on Clayface.

I thought this delivered exactly what I was looking for, which is gross version of Clayface.

I saw Clayface, they animated it, and it's like, hey, what would a live-action version of this character bring? It would make that character kind of gross.

And this movie delivered on showing me that.
