Most people wait until after college to start their careers, but Brady Holzmiller was running sound for professional hockey games before he even finished high school. On this episode of "The Fan…
Speaking of which, as I mentioned in the intro, I recently took a trip to Comerica Park in Detroit.
You might have seen on my Instagram, oh, Connor, what are you doing at a random Tuesday night baseball game in September between, let's face it, Tigers twins, two teams that, you know, maybe I know that AL isn't very good, but maybe not necessarily having the seasons they wanted.
And that was a really cool learning experience just to sit in the upper deck and think, immerse yourself in the game presentation.
And Little Caesars Arena, Red Wings, Pistons, Ford Field with the Lions, it's all great venues.
And what I love is, and I know this is the same in Philadelphia as well as Kansas City with Arrowhead and Kauffman Stadium, having it all in that one block or two You know, it makes it really easy if it's, say, in April or maybe September, especially with the new season starting soon for hockey and the earlier start.

and you have to be using your brain all the time and i think that was no more evident than to give you a few examples before the game after the national anthem boom on the scoreboard which is phenomenal by the way out in left field i know they um got a new scoreboard a few years ago it was my second time to the ballpark um And I had gone back in 2018.
So before, you know, I sort of even knew this game presentation was a thing for that matter.
And then throughout the game, What really cracked me up, and this is what I mean when it comes to humor as well as pop culture.
So it was Bark in the Park, Dog Night, which I'll get into in a couple minutes.
