If you watch the Backrooms on YouTube or you know anything about it, you kind of know what it is.
one or two things that you could probably spoil in it in terms of like the entity or monster or whatever you wanted to call it and what that looks like and things like that.
But I find that people are either really loving this movie or absolutely hating it.
Having never really dealt with a lot of the backroom stuff, like I had heard the 4chan or whatever that it was on and stuff like that, and then things would slowly pop up.
But back when it was this huge internet sensation kind of thing, I didn't really pay much attention to it because I don't do that.
But I was interested to see this movie, the fact that it had a 20-year-old director who had never directed a full feature-length film.
And obviously it's an A24 movie, and for everyone who listens to our podcast knows where A24 stands here.
for sure you know i i liked the effort to it i don't mind a slow burn film the way that this was i think the fact that it was that the set was created in like this 30 000 square foot warehouse where they actually built the backroom sets that they were going to use is an amazing feat and Because we all know they could have CGI'd it or green screened it and it just wouldn't have been the same.
I don't think you would have gotten the same reactions from the actors and stuff like that.
