Sons of Belial and The Ancient Spirits of Modern Politics - Toaster Talk ep7- The Dancing Toaster podcast
Three thousand years ago, a divided kingdom, a ruthless military commander, and a political opportunist known as a "son of Belial" plunged ancient Israel into another bloody crisis. Sound familiar? In this special *Toaster Talk* episode, Pastor Nelly invites you into Evergreen Calvary Chapel for an unfiltered look at 2nd Samuel 20, where political manipulation, betrayal, murder, and blind loyalty reveal some uncomfortable truths about human nature and modern politics. From ancient kings to modern politicians, the faces and slogans may have changed, but the darkness behind them remains disturbingly familiar. What happens when evil disguises itself as righteousness, and how much are we willing to overlook when it's our side doing the dirty work?
The Dancing Toaster is a podcast that wrestles with the intersection of faith and the unexplained.
