time if you just you know we you know you can stop at any time um something else that kind of uh i think is cool because you talk about god and you talk about you know the importance of god plays in your life now and also a sponsor you know and how important your sponsor is to you um you know how have those two relationships work together to kind of keep you grounded today

I'm very fortunate that I have a sponsor who I have.

This gentleman, he's exactly like me.

In fact, he was from my home state of Arizona, so we had a lot in common there.

But he understands me.

I mean, picking up a telephone is like picking up a brick.

You know, and and I don't.

And I've asked him several times and said what makes it to where I just don't want to pick up a phone and he always says that I'm exactly the same way.

You know, and that's just the way that God has made us, I guess.

So we have to continue on trying to, you know, reach out and do the next right thing.

He's been debt absolutely with me throughout all of my trials and tribulations.

I couldn't say that there's two people in this world who I've never lied to and who know the real Jim, all the nitty gritty and whatnot.

And he's one of them.

And I'm having a I have a relationship now with a beautiful woman and she's the second that I've never lied to.

So, you know, I just look back in my life and just think about how many times that I had had lied to people and, you know, I keep bringing up lies, you know, but it's just amazing to me how much alcoholism just brought that to the forefront.

I definitely have God in my life and my sponsor and I can pick up a phone and talk to him about anything.

You know, whether it's financial, whether it's, you know, just something that's eating at me or whatnot.

And I get truthful, straightforward answers and no one's really, you know, he's not condescending or, you know, condemning.

He's always relating it back to himself and the things that he has done.

And sometimes you think, gosh, I wasn't that bad.

So that makes it a little easier to talk to them in that regards.

But I'm very lucky to have the sponsor that I am.
