Zuni people

Yeah.

He, he's a very powerful native Hopi elder we... or Zuni elder, I'm sorry, we've had on the show, and he's in our Kohakima document maybe.

But he talked about in our episode with him, you know, the native tribes, they understood that contract.

The animals, the bison, buffalo, cattle, whatever, elk, they come here as a sacrifice.

So there had been civilizations in North America, but they peaked before the Europeans arrived.

The Zuni and Hopi civilization, round about here, peaked about 1200 CE.

They had large multiple family dwellings and canyons, which they probably left because of drought.

The Zuni Indians still occupy their homes, and they prove to be a most interesting people.

They have cultivated the soil from time immemorial.

They build their houses of stone and line them with plaster, and they have many interesting arts, being skilled potters and deft weavers.
