Kansas City is nothing but a glorified prison.

The Kansas City Chiefs signed this morning to their practice squad former Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker.

I'm gonna try to be as kind as possible, but it's very hard.

When it comes to the Kansas City Chiefs, Patrick Holmes is a minority in Kansas City.

I'm shocked that Andy Reid didn't trade him because he believes that criminals make better NFL players.

And if you don't think I'm right about that, why don't we take a little walk down a history lane? A lot of people are fascinated with prison.

What's prison like on the inside? We all love prison TV shows and prison movies, and we're, for some reason, infatuated with jail stories.

And I was thinking about what's the greatest example I could give you of what prison is really like.

And what's amazing about it is that it reared its ugly head today in such an amazing way.

You don't have to watch Oz, the old show on HBO.

You don't have to watch a documentary on Locked Up or First 60 Days.

All you have to do is follow the Kansas City Chiefs.

They are basically an outhouse for prisoners.

That's the kind of program that Andy Reid runs.

See, it's not about good guys.

And sports doesn't have to be about having good guys.

But Andy Reid is essentially like a warden.

Nothing more, nothing less.

The Kansas City Chiefs are basically like a glorified federal lockup.

You may have heard the news today that the Kansas City Chiefs have decided that they need to bring a new place kicker in because Harrison Bunker has missed 15 kicks in the last year and a half and missed two more kicks in the embarrassing loss that they suffered to Seattle.

Now, to be fair, one of the kicks he missed was a 58-yarder.

Can't really penalize a guy or punish a guy for not making a kick from 58 yards.

The problem is that the other kick he missed was in the 40-yard range.

But I got to thinking... about Andy Reid, who most people adore, and I'm trying to figure out why we don't look at Andy Reid the way we look at a lot of other people.
