Words of Radiance: Chapters 46, 47, and 48 (S 7, Epi 15)

You guys want to talk about some Cosmere?

Yeah, let's talk about Boys Night.

oh yeah good point yeah so start the little epigraph when Samoa was informed of their arrival the edge dancers a concealed consternation and terror as common in such cases fell upon him although they were not the most demanding of orders their graceful limber limber movements hit a daily deadliness that was by this time quite renowned also they were most articulate and refined of the radiance

Which is really funny.

Yes.

But Alana can't know yet.

Yeah.

But just trust

us.

I was going to ask a question.

and i'm glad i did not because you put

me in

place and said nope nope later

he is reviewing bridge 17 um and tells him tells the leader

there he's like i'm impressed and like his intentional thoughts like i guess he

had a

lot of sometimes keep the motivation up

There's just problems with that whole crew.

And he's just like, I'll just be motivational despite it's not working too much.

But yeah, I don't know.

yeah trying to try to improve morale with lies about them doing a good job i don't know participation trophies i don't know how that works in the i was never in the military most of what i know in the military this is not normally strategy used to uh booster up uh troops uh moisture poster booster whatever uh troops bolster bolster there you go there it is uh to lie to them and say they're doing a great job when they're not um And honestly, for me personally, even working in business, I do not like bosses that do this.

Tell me what I'm doing wrong so I can fix it.

Don't bless my ass.

So, of course, there's a lot of people in the boomer generation who are abhorrent of this idea of participation trophies.

But this sounds like the participation trophy trope, right? Yeah.
