All right, and today's episode of The Authorities Have Social Media Too, Brad.
Oh.
Or Christopher, I guess, but I just like the name Brad better.
So this guy named Christopher Stefano, he's known to some people on Instagram as the Long Island Shock Man.
Yeah, he's racked up over a half a million followers with his great fishing excursions revolving around, wow, look at all the sharks that I catch and release on beaches all over the United States.
I'm the shark guy.
I'm famous on social media.
Well, here's the deal.
He led a charter commissioned by a client from Europe with the goal of landing a great white.
This is what they wanted.
Well, they were able to catch a tagged shark that had been named Aaron.
Aaron?
Aaron, the shark.
The bad news is the authorities saw the since-deleted video of the illegal beach fishing for sharks.
And he's now been charged with cruelty to animals, fishing for sharks, mechanical deployment of bait, attempting to capture a shark in possession of a protected species shark.
So we earlier this morning had the woman that killed somebody in a car crash watching adult films while driving.
She didn't even go to jail.
She's out.
Out.
The shark guy is in jail with bail set at 10 grand.
Like, I just don't understand.
Like, believe me, I think they're both crimes.

murder or vehicular
