In my opinion and my experience is, especially as a high school teacher who used to do, try to guide students to go into the trades, if that's where their talents were, is that most people who do not do well in school, many of them are neurodivergent.
And then You know, they might be in school and they're not good in math, but they're brilliant at sales or talking to people and being friendly and social.
And so therefore now they leave school and many of them didn't do well in school.
And it's making me think that the whole education system globally, not just here in the UK or potentially in the United States, is outdated because of the fact so many people are neurodivergent, which means that instead of us in the UK, we've moved away from practical vocational skills and we've gone too far the other way to academia.
And for years, the narrative has been everyone's got to go to university, get a degree, get a better education.
And actually we've really messed things up because we needed more and more people.
