Ben, what first got you into carpentry and how did you get your start?

okay well let's start this from the beginning so basically um when i was well basically since i was a boy um it all started from when when i was with my grandfather and um at the time i didn't really necessarily know what he did because i was so young but over time i realized he was a carpenter yeah and had a very high reputation across parts of foxwoodshire and buckinghamshire is um Where I used to live, actually, it was a village called Oakley in Brill, in Buckinghamshire, near Brill, in Buckinghamshire area.

And just following on from there, and I realised what he did.

And since he passed away in 2014, I think something like that shouldn't have just gone away.

And basically sort of kind of fell on me to sort of follow in his footsteps.

And I was originally going to go into landscaping, but Over time, I sort of took a fancy to more of the construction side of it.

So after I finished my level two course at Berkshire College of Agriculture, which is down based in South Berkshire, I basically went off to Reading College to do construction multi-trades, which is basically a course which gives you a taste of what course is.
