So you are a film critic who really knows what he saw you about.

You're not just one of these like random sub stackers.

You've been in the game for a long time and you actually know your stuff.

And.

You are kind of right of center a little bit, not crazy or anything, but you're coming at it.

You talk sort of openly and honestly about woke influence, but you're also not like, let's destroy the whole system.

You have a thing I saw on Fox being like, hey, you know what? Let's give movies a chance.

They're not that bad.

Let's not just throw the whole baby out with the bathwater.

So is that, yeah,

I was like, yeah, I mean, that's, I mean, I got into this whole silly business because I love movies.

And also I just noticed that 98% of my fellow critics were left of center.

So I thought my thoughts might be valuable as someone on the right.

Yeah, you're a parallel economy movie reviewer.

But again, the thing that I really like is you're not one of these guys that's just like politically complaining all the time.

You're like, you're taking the movie on its merits.

You're actually trying to figure out, is this good or bad? You're not just like, you know, screw all every single thing that could possibly be associated with Hollywood, I would say.

yeah liz i i just re-watched robocop i think it was 1987. and i think that was sort of a leftist critique of corporations taking over everything in our lives because it took them to the local police department but it's a great film it endures it it holds up beautifully and if there's a left-leaning message in a film and it's a terrific movie i'm going to say so i i'd be silly not to

well verhoeven's a very interesting case right because verhoeven is everybody debates starship troopers is starship troopers actually fascist is it making fun of fascists so what's your take on that

I think he's making fun of it.

It's also, it's an incredibly watchable movie.

I just watched most of it again.

I don't know how many times I've seen it.
