Right, where do we start? I think, obviously, the mention, Graham Alexander, new Preston North End manager, as of two weeks ago.
I know me and Jack did a video expressing that it was going to be Robbie Keane, but, I mean, obviously, now Graham Alexander has come in, you know, club legend.
maybe change from hecking bottom or do you think it's more the same jack
i think it's still early days really i i was maybe a little bit encouraged from the millwall game particularly that we created some good chances i mean i think arabi's addicted to hitting the first defender he sees Other than that, I was a little bit encouraged, but we still lost the game through a lapse of concentration and giving Negley such massive room to bury the ball, really.
And it was a great finish, wasn't it? But then the Birmingham game, which for me was already a lost cause going into it.
I wasn't really optimistic going into it.
I was thinking maybe it's probably going to be a 3-0.
I didn't think it was going to be a 4-0, but, you know, long old difference, really.
And, obviously, the calamitous fashion we lost in was... was really really uh disturbing particularly stanley mills getting sent off which i saw it from a birmingham fan on twitter or x um saying like he looked like he did not want to be on that he looked like he was just trying to get himself sent off and if i'm being honest i could somewhat agree with the sort of the manner in which in so in terms of his body language as well like i just didn't feel like stanley mills wanted to be on that pitch But there was one comment that Dan Murphy, which, by the way, congratulations on the new role at the LEP.
His article last night, the reaction from Graham Alexander saying the only positive was he didn't think any of the players gave up.
And it's just like, are we watching the same game? I was a little bit taken aback by that.
Other than that, I've not really seen too much.
I think, to be fair, we didn't play too badly for the first half an hour.
I think in terms of the shape defensively, we were a bit all over the place, but it worked for the time being.
And I feel like it's a lapse of judgment in terms of you could see Alfie Devine, especially I'm going to circle him out because at this stage you might as well circle out players.
You could see he was getting frustrated and he just lost concentration, didn't decide to press and then Thierry Smalls ball watching, ball gets played inside the channel, Andrew Hughes, a championship defender, gets shown to the outside.
ball gets put across and you know i think there was three of them waiting lining up and then once once they score it's a good night vienna because we don't look like putting the ball in the onion bag down the other end um sam did you see any positives from the birmingham match in the mobile match at all um any improvements from alexander because i'm grasping at the scores
you know,
I think, who was it that hit the bar? Was it like inside the first 10 minutes, was it? Or was it 15 minutes?
So, you
know, you sat there and you're thinking, right, you know.
And then after that, we kind of, you know, from my eyes, we, you know, we had, you know, most of the ball, you know, we were It was promising, but like I said, watching Graeme Alexander's football, it's not that much different to Herky's, but his early days.
But yeah, and then obviously last night, that was first half an hour.
