I think you can look at that change, putting Afua to left wing back as a bit peculiar because it actually ended up that we had three of our back five in new positions at a time when that back five had looked really strong, like especially Afua and Clarke down the right and then you moved Afua over.

Earlier on, we did a mid-transfer window roundup show in the middle of the summer, and I said one of the most exciting signings that had happened up to that point was Alfie Devine to Preston, and obviously now I'm getting him on a permanent deal.

However, one of the most concerning player sales for me is a Preston midfielder leaving, and that is, of course, Ben Whiteman.

Their captain, a player who played over 3,700 minutes for them last season, has moved on and I feel like they've lost a lot of organisation and leadership, especially in the middle of the park, something that at the moment looks to have really hurt them.
