We sit down with Jeremy Ryan Slate, co-founder of Command Your Brand, to connect the lessons of Roman history to modern…
I've been thinking about this for a couple of weeks of how am I going to or how are we going to interweave Command your brand.
So we want to, we want to give the value to the audience of the branding because you guys are super good at that.
And then we also want to, I want to weave in the Roman history and the stuff that you're doing there.
I'm just telling the audience, this might get a little back and forth between Rome and branding.
You know, that's kind of, that's kind of what, so let's go into the command your brand.
Cause that's really what, what kind of got you started in this whole podcast realm is what we talked about last time you were on.
Tell me where that is and tell me if there's any updates on branding and podcasting, all that stuff.
Well, and you've been in podcasting a while too, so the space has changed a lot, right? I've been in this space since 2014.
And I think the thing that's interesting is you've seen the space kind of started with a lot of individual creators and a lot of the big companies weren't really succeeding.
And now you're seeing, and we're seeing this especially in the agency world, a lot of the big companies are actually starting to come in and buy the small agencies.
So it's changing the space a lot, but I think there's still an ability for individual creators to do well.
Now, the thing that I am seeing, is back in 2014, this is like 80 to 90% audio only.
And the thing that we're seeing now is video is becoming such a big component of it.
