Dutch Wonderland

And Tom Cruise, ugh, his movie didn't do as well as he thought.

Also, we have to talk about Dutch Wonderland.

We didn't get to that conversation.

Yes, we did.

I've never heard of Dutch Wonderland, but apparently you and Danielle used to go there when you were kids out near Lancaster.

It sure is fun.

I'm excited this weekend we're going to Dutch Wonderland using our tickets up, our free tickets from the library.

So I will be playing with my children.

I'm not the type that, like, wants to sit on the floor and, like, stack blocks very much or anything.

You can see all the fun stuff that happens there.

There's also a much smaller theme park in Lancaster called Dutch Wonderland, which is [laughs] on Route 30, very close to the outlet malls.

There's also a large strip of outlet malls, interestingly enough, just due west of Amish country.

But if you have kids and want to check out Dutch Wonderland, it sounds exactly like what it is, a small little theme park.

I believe they may even have a roller coaster and kiddie rides and maybe some rides for older children in Lancaster County.

Who would have thought? So you don't have-

Santa's Village in New Hampshire.

Dutch Wonderland, Lancaster, PA. Legoland, Florida in Wonderhaven, Florida.

Oregon's Wonderland in San Antonio, Texas.

And Storyland in Glen, New Hampshire.

They're not even on the list.

That used to be Idlewild's jam.

Then Dutch Wonderland.

Wow.

You know, it was only a couple of minutes away, but, you know, right there on Route 30, Lancaster Avenue, there's a ton of hotels of all sorts of different brands and chains and such.

Uh, you know, because you have the big attraction, Dutch Wonderland, right down the street, you know.

Mm-hmm.

[laughs]

So, you know.

I mean, I, I think we're all a little too tall for the rides at Dutch Wonderland, but-

[laughs]

... um, the good news is at the, and, and I know we'll get this, uh, to this in a second, but at the pizza and pasta party prior and I guess post the 5K, I was already in contact with Maggie from Magic Bound, because in our packet pickup, they actually have a business card of next year's dates.
