And a part of that, for those of you that have been paying attention, was to write a book.

And I wanted to give an update on that because it has been an interesting adventure, not just physically, but psychologically as well.

And first of all, let me just say, for those out there that have written any kind of book without the help of AI, I'll put that as an asterisk, 'cause that's one thing I'm doing is this is without AI, not even to smooth things out.

Um, all the blemishes and warts and editorial issues are 100% mine, so you can blame me for if it's a bad book.

But for those of you that have written something without AI, written a book, had it published, put it out there, people have had a transactional moment where they thought it was worth it to purchase it and read it and consume it, my hat's off to you because it is a process, and I knew it would be.

So I would get up, I would have a cup of coffee, I would work out, and before I even checked emails, I would just write.

I shot myself like a, like a cannonball out of a cannon at the beginning of the year as far as writing this book.

I had some incredible advice around, you know, self-publishing versus going to someone like a Simon & Schuster.

What was the feasibility of actually having it published with, uh, a big house like that? What does that get you? What do you lose in that? There were so many business aspects to it.

But the process itself, I was quite transparently trying to emulate Fleming's.
