Be the Eye of the Storm, Brian Costello, Primordial Code

And on that venture during when I initially left for Costa Rica, in um it was in january of 2023 but the year of 2022 was a big year for us just with everything that was going on in the world and had been going on for a couple of years through the pandemic and everything like that um we we were really just feeling it was time to to get out and try something new and just break up the pattern we were feeling very stuck here on long island and um i was I had been on a journey for about maybe at that point about seven or eight years of a really deep holistic healing journey that I wanted to just talk about and write about and share about.

I had a few things going here in Long Island, but nothing was really taking shape the way we had hoped.

I was really feeling called to write this book, this story that I'll share about here in a moment.

In January of 2023, we went down to costa rica i had we basically left everything behind i had stepped away from the business that i had been running at the time handed it off to my partner and said i'm gonna i'm going to go write this book and it's called the primordial code and i don't know where it's going to lead or what's going to happen next but it is the next step for me on my path and my journey and i'm going to honor that and follow that and we'll find out from there so i spent Spent our time down there.

Again, we were just under two years down there, a year and a half, three-quarters, something.

And because of life and the way it works, financially mostly, I wasn't able to only spend my time writing the book.

I was doing a few other things as well.

I had a work opportunity down there that I was doing.

Maybe we'll talk about that as well as far as part of the Eco Village project we were living in.

and whatnot.

But the point is, I was writing the story and I was putting my full effort into that any free time I had.

And we returned home about a year and a half later, I was only four chapters into the story, actually.

It's a 14 chapter book.

And so it felt like I was behind schedule, not that I don't believe that that's really the truth, but it felt that way at certain points.

And, um, I came home and I really decided, Hey, we have to, I was looking at it and saying, Hey, we have to reestablish ourselves on our new life back on long Island.

Again, we had a baby on the way.

That was one of the biggest reasons we came home.

Um, the work relationship I had down there wasn't good.

I could see wasn't going to work long-term our lease was up.

So we're like, all right, we're coming home, reestablishing ourselves here.

but i was like i'm not i don't if i if i stop writing and take my mind off this story and start doing something else or figuring all these other things out it's going to die it's going it'll become momentum will die it'll never come back so i said you know what i'm not doing anything until i finish the story and i committed fully slammed the gas pedal In a year and a half, I wrote four chapters.

In the next six months, I wrote the next 10 chapters.

We moved a lot faster and I ended up finishing the story at the end of 2024 and published it right at the beginning of 2025.

That's what I've been focusing on now.

The story is called The Primordial Code and I can talk more about it obviously as we go.
