How Should Christians Think About Social Media?

Parker, what does 99 for 1 mean?

So Jesus is talking about, uh, how a sinner is saved and the posture of that of, of the shepherd and of the angels in heaven.

So he says, "What shepherd who has 99 sheep would not leave them to go find the one that is lost?" And so Jesus, our great shepherd, has left the 91, 99 to go.

If you are a follower of Him, He has left the herd to go seek and find you and bring you back to safety.

And so Jesus puts you on His shoulders, takes you back home where it's safe, like Psalm 23 talks about that shepherd, uh, that, that shepherd language and imagery.

And then, uh, heaven rejoices when you come home.

And so our goal is to, uh, if you're listening, if you're a follower of Jesus, you are the one He's gotten.

And if not, if you're checking this out, then, uh, come to Him today.

Because if you knock, the door will be opened, and Jesus, um, will grab you and, and bring you back home.

Psalm 23 was in my reading this morning.

"The Lord is my shepherd.

I shall not want.

He makes me lie down in green pastures.

He leads me beside still waters.

He restores my soul.

He leads me in paths of righteousness for His name's sake.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me.

Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.

You anoint my head with oil.

My cup overflows.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever."

Dave Gibson's book on, uh, that, it's, I think, The Lord, The God of Psalm 23, is really good.

Mm.
