Football Dads' Final... Part 2 :: Ep 62

Let's first start off with this because news broke just a couple days ago.

There's going to be a little bit of a shakeup moving forward with classifications here in Middle Tennessee.

So starting next year, Nolensville and Page will be moving up from 5A to 6A.

What do you guys think that really means for teams like Page or Nolensville? Because we've played four 6A teams this year and playing a fifth in Rossview at the end of the year.

So will it really make a difference, or is it just kind of once you get into playoffs is when it really matters?

It'll make a difference.

There are bigger schools.

The numbers of Indy, they got 2,032 students, I think, and then Page has 1,500.

So the cutoff's 1,500 from what I've been reading.

Page has, like, 1,503.

Nolensville has 1,572.

And Brentwood, believe it or not, we're bigger than Brentwood now, 1,540,

which shocked the hell out of me.

I

didn't know that.

Again, is it going to make a difference? Yeah, I mean, it'll help with travel, for one.

But two, I mean, those are... team those are real good teams man um i don't know uh how we're gonna do or what everyone i mean classes are different but when you're getting up with 6a football it's just it's a lot of kids man it's like a lot of we were talking last week about how

you know our boys will be gone after this year but no you get

yeah yeah you get thrown right into 6a with your that's

awesome but

uh I don't know, man.

I think it's going to be tough.

I mean, it's always a tough transition.

Yeah, I think

it's going to be tougher.
