That's right.

So what church are you at? Faith Lutheran Church, technically Thompson Station, but

it's Spring Hill.

That's why I asked because I was like, I remember it being not technically in Spring Hill, but I couldn't remember exactly where it's at.

It's weird.

The mailing address is Thompson Station, but the actual physical plant is in the city limits of Spring Hill.

So for people who don't know or care, which is probably growing as I speak, that's all south of Nashville for those who don't know.

That's right.

We are in the Marion Will Hoyt Press Box, high above Jim Cartwright Field, approximately on the 50-yard line, in the Dan James Media Center in Lindsay Nelson Stadium.

As we are preparing for the Independence High School Eagles coming down from Southern Williamson County, Thompson Station area.

6A school, 6A classification to take on the 5A home team, the Columbia Central Lions tonight.

Kickoff set for 7 o'clock.

We have a tailgate.

What are you bringing to the tailgate? By the way, WB in Thompson Station, "All awesome recipes, especially for breakfast," and that compliment is coming from a Kansas City transplant who believes everything should be smoked and eventually end up in a great Kansas City barbecue sauce.

Where are you both from originally? Where did you guys grow up?

They both grew up homegrown, Thompson Station, Tennessee.

Thompson Station, but everything else we did was in Franklin.

Really?

So we kind of hit that Thompson Station, Franklin, because our high school was in Franklin.

Oh, you were there.

But what had saved Ward in the past, and would save him again here at Peachtree Creek, was his capable, experienced subordinates, including two of his brigade commanders, both colonels, both Hoosiers, and both with something to prove.

Colonel John Coburn had suffered the indignity of having to surrender his command a year before after being surrounded by Confederate cavalry led by Nathan Bedford Forrest at Thompson's Station in Tennessee.

Eventually exchanged, Coburn was eager for the opportunity to redeem his reputation.

Then Colonel, and future 23rd US President, Benjamin Harrison had his own reputational battles to fight as he labored under the burden of his family name and heroic military and political lineage.
